He proposed on May 29th, 2010 our 5 year anniversary. It was just the two of us on the beach, sitting on our newly purchased blanket watching the sunset. He proposed with a 50 cent green ring and I said yes.
One of the best days of my life.
This Tumblr is to help me gather ideas for our wedding which will take place on 6.5.11!
If you have any tips, ides, advice please share. I'm open to any ideas and I'm trying to keep this wedding personal and reasonable.

So, remember these shoes?
Well, they look horrible with the dress, leaving me less than 2 weeks to run around like mad trying to find something cute in a SIZE 11! This is not something I needed on top of everything else.
I hit Aldo, Nordstroms and DSW with a big fat FAIL.
Nothing looked classy enough, everything has that cork bottom which is not something I’m after.
So I took my hunt to the internet, and get this…I purchased 5 different pairs of heels.
Should be fun to open all the boxes and strut around in them this weekend.

Not sure if anyone really keeps tabs on my Tumblr, but sorry for the MIA. It’s been really hectic and now we’re into the final stretch - only 11 more days until our wedding. Right now I am attempting to write my vows, which are due tonight. Procrastinators shouldn’t get married.

These are our save the dates. They were supposed to mail like a postcard, but it didn’t work out exactly as advertised. We ended up going to Target to purchase an array of colorful envelopes for a decent price. I still love them even if they were a pain.
Excuse the the shine on my head, these were hard to snap a picture of with my iphone.

I can’t even start to explain the frustration of our idea for our save the dates so here is a quick summary but in short do not buy polaposts from photojojo.com!
- Thought the items purchased were white due to the photos/description on website
- Arrived with white, hot pink, blue and black. Not pleased.
- Dealt with company and they had no idea they were not all white - sent us more packs to get the right amount of white- now 1 week behind
- Get all the packs - print pictures for these save the dates at Costco - cut pictures and buy pens to assemble our save the dates - take sample save the date to post office to double check that it can mail. Can’t mail due to odd size/ needing more postage/position of the mailing address on the piece. Seriously.
- Contact company again stating that their description says you can just pop these in the mail with a 44 cent stamp. They say they have never had a problem….
- We’re currently running two tests - one with 66 cent stamp and one with 44 cent stamp.
- So far no sign of 66 cent stamp run meaning the other will probably fail too
- Went to target and purchased a set of colored envelopes to insert our save the dates into
- We purchased these polaposts to make it easy on us and it has turned into one big headache.

Looking over the pictures makes me go nom nom nom all over again! The tasting was EXCELLENT and exactly what we want at our wedding, which is:
- Laid back
- Tasty
- Gourmet bar food
- Options for the vegetarians
So, I guess we’re on the right track! Next save the dates, invites and we need to figure out that whole music deal.
